Fit Mum Flapjack

THIS IS SO YUMMY. I’m all for making my foods from scratch, especially for the little man now he’s on solids. It means you can enjoy what you eat completely guilt free. This recipe is stolen from my nutritionist friend Jessica Rose. She sent me the recipe late in the evening, and i couldn’t wait to go to the shop and get the correct ingredients so switched up a few ingredients with what i had in my cupboard. See both 🙂


@jessicarosenutrition’s recipe

  • 3 cups of oats
  • 1 cup of almond milk
  • 1/2 cup of maple syrup or agave syrup
  • 3 table spoons of desiccated coconut
  • strawberries and blueberries galore


@fitmumtobe’s attempt

  • 3 cups of oats
  • 1 cup of almond milk
  • 2 1/2 table spoons of honey
  • 3 table spoons flaked almonds
  •  Blueberries galore
  • 1 sliced banana to top it off

Mix together all the ingredients, then evenly spread onto a square on baking paper. Leave in the oven on 180 degrees, for 20 to 30 minutes until golden and crispy.
